If you received an acknowledgement of acceptance from the IRS then they are still in the processing stage for your return.  It has been a year of many changes for the IRS, including the stimulus and the recent American Rescue Plan for a third stimulus and other things.

 

You will need some patience this year while they receive their instruction and then work with everyone to process the tax returns and payments.

 

Continue to check the IRS site for information about your return (IRS Transcript, or Where's My Refund) every few days.
