Question

Why was my deposit shorted per what I should have received?

Turbo tax showed one amount and it was  shorted by over 100 dollars. What the heck is going on? This is not right and getting anyone at turbo tax to answer questions is difficult anyone got some guidance? Thank you

The refund amount the IRS deposited in your account may be less than what you expected. There may be a few reasons why this may have happened. Situations can vary so I believe sharing this information may be of assistance for the majority of scenarios.
