Why wont turbo tax take my payment out of my refund. It says its not available at this time why.

You might still be waiting for forms that will not let you go all the way through the FILE section in order to get to the payment screen where you can make the choice to pay an extra $39.99 ($44.99 in CA) to have a third party bank deduct your TurboTax fees from your federal refund and send you the rest.    Or it could be that your refund is not enough to cover all of the fees plus that extra refund processing fee.  

I will point out that many of the people who are having delays with receiving their stimulus checks are experiencing those delays because they chose this option.

There are a number of 2020 forms  — including the Form 1040 now that the 2nd stimulus passed — that are still being revised by the IRS and the states.  Click on the REVIEW tab to see what form(s) you are waiting for and when it is estimated to be ready (when operational ….and dates are subject to change) ...
