Will I get a federal return if I set a date for taxes I owe at a later time?

I set a date for 04/11/2025 to pay federal taxes of $621. It says I’m getting almost $700 in federal taxes so do I get my taxes then I owe?

    You cannot have taxes owed and a tax refund.  You are confused somewhere on whether or not you have taxes owed or a tax refund.

    Look at your tax return, Form 1040 Line 35a for a tax refund and Line 37 for taxes owed

     

    You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
