Will I get notification before IRS debits from my bank account my taxes due for 2023 ? When should I expect to see funds withdrawn?

If you did not specify a date for the direct debit the IRS will use the filing deadline date on April 15 2024. Watch your own bank account. The IRS will not send you any sort of notice or receipt.

if you specified a date, the funds may come out later because of all the returns now being filed. As long as you specified a date on or before 4/15 and provided valid info on the source of the funds, even if the IRS is late in taking the money there will be no penalties.
