Question

Will I need to file an extension? I received a K-1 for 2019 but already filed taxes and received. Can I add to next year taxes?

You cannot wait to enter it on a 2020 tax return. You must prepare, print and mail an amended return form 1040X to add the K-1 to your already filed return. Here is some help: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1894381-how-to-amend-change-or-correct-a-return-you-already-filed

There is no deadline for filing an amended return. You don't need an extension.

I received a K-1 for 2019 and am trying to amend my 2019 return, but I don't see where I can add the form. I'm using the TurboTax Download software. I've clicked on all the prompts but it doesn't mention adding a new form. I tried Miscellaneous tax forms but it does not include the K-1 form. The list of What do you need to change on your return only shows the forms that are already on the return. I tried selecting  Other Tax Situations and that does not give me an option to add the K-1 form either.
