Will turbotax acknowledge and fix problem with the software that does not properly adjust for the union dues deduction on NYS IT-196?

New York allows for a line 44 deduction for union dues. The software does not register that. As far back as February, there were indications online that turbotax would address.

It has been added to the New York adjustments menu, but it is easy to overlook! Due to the other items that are also aggregated on Line 44, the deduction entry area is listed on the page Changes to Federal Income under Investment Adjustments.    The full line beside which you want to click Start reads "Investment exps, amortized bond premiums, S corp other exeps, Union Dues".
