I messed up the amount I paid with estimated tax payment for 2021 and my e-filing was rejected. I have started an amended turbotax file by duplicating the original file and choosing amend a return.
I can see the incorrect value on line 25 in form 1, but turbotax will not let me change that number.
How do I get that number changed?
You do not amend. You make the change in the original return and refile.
