You originally said that the website would take amended returns on 2/15/25 well now it’s saying that your working on the website and it’s not available until 2/22/25

Tax form availability is subject to change. The 1040X has often not been available until late February, so this is not unusual. I was pretty surprised when they first said February 13. So, you have to wait.

It is too soon to amend a 2024 tax return. You have to wait until it has been fully processed by the IRS. Sometimes the IRS catches and corrects mistakes you made. And the Form 1040X you will need is not available yet. Amending too soon can cause confusion and long delays.
