My 1041 is not showing the distribution to the beneficiary as a deduction

Did you make a distribution in the program?

It should appear on your 1041 on Line 18 as an IDD.

Yes, I input the amount I want to distribute to the beneficiary on the distribution screen as a first tier distribution but it doesn’t carry over to line 18 of the 1041 as a deduction. Also I can’t get distribution amount to be allocated to the beneficiary on line 2b(1) of the 1041. It’s all being allocated to the trust. I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this

Can you try a percentage. For example, if one beneficiary is getting all of the income, then have you tried 100%?

You can also try going into forms view and changing the figures on the K-1 (I believe there's a K-1 worksheet and/or a distribution worksheet).
