1041 Box 14

No, Box 14 requires some further interaction from you in order to carry correctly to the proper place in your tax return.  Box 14 is a sort of 'catch-all' for amounts that don't have dedicated boxes on the form.  You should have an attached supplemental statement explaining the box 14 entries.  When you enter the codes and amounts from box 14 in TurboTax, there will be follow-up questions which will populate to gather the information included on the supplemental statement.

• Code A: Tax-exempt interest.
• Code F: Gross farming and fishing income.
• Code H: Net investment income or deduction adjustment.
• Code I: Section 199A information (Qualified Business Income).
• Code Z: Other information – Requires careful review of any attached statements.
