Question

1099 B LLC How to report

The Single Member LLC is a disregarded entity for tax purposes and defaults to be taxed as it's single owner/member.  This means the IRS did not make a form for the LLC and you report the activity, as you would for yourself.

So if I have an LLC and the only income that LLC has is reported on 1099B, and I report the 1099B as I would do for myself, this will cause the LLC to be at loss every year. If you show loss for your business every year, there is a high chance you will get audited. Can you help me with this?

Yes, in order to file as a business, you would need to show a profit three years in the first five years. If you don't earn a profit in three of those five years, the IRS will consider your business as a hobby and will not allow you a declare a net loss.

Also, if this is the only income you will report, the IRS may question why you have a business in the first place.
