1099 NEC entries

Some of my customers send me a 1099 NEC and some don't. I only receive the QBI discount on sales that don't send a 1099 NEC. Do I have to enter my 1099 NEC or can I just include them with all sales?

    Your 1099-NEC income for your business should also be used to calculate the QBI deduction, so be sure you are entering the 1099-NEC from the screen related to your business income.  See the sample screenshot below:
