1099 NEC included my mileage reimbursement

I kept all of my mileage logs.  My 1099NEC included my vehicle reimbursement as income.  How do I claim the mileage as a deduction?

You can only take a business vehicle deduction if you are self-employed, it is not allowed against salary income. If you have self-employment income you will see  an option to enter your Business Vehicle Expenses in the section where you enter your business expenses. Work through that section and you will be asked to enter your vehicle mileage and be given the choice to use the mileage deduction or actual vehicle expenses to deduct the cost of operating your vehicle.
