1099-NEC Is nonemployee compensation considered qualified business income?

Hi!  I am a grant writer/fundraising specialist.  I am an independent contractor working for a special needs school district.  Does my nonemployee compensation reported to me on my 1099-NEC count as qualified business income?  I would appreciate any guidance.  Thank you.

    Yes, it does. TurboTax will calculate that automatically from your input on your Sch C.
