Question

2024 NJ Pension Wks

Regarding the New Jersey Pension Wks-TP and SP:  Although the top portion of the form reflects the correct information for IRA withdrawals and various pensions as entered from 1099-R forms, the amounts marked with a “X” in the “Check if this is an IRA Distribution” box do not carry down to line 2a in Section 1 – IRA Withdrawals, Part A for the taxpayer.  They do carry down for the Taxpayer’s spouse though.  I can manually override this field and enter the amounts myself, but they should automatically fill.   Why?  I closed out of TurboTax and reopened in case there were updates, but it didn't change.

Great job knowing what to do for both steps. There is a known issue with the WI CS and they are working to resolve it.

    • You may  need to contact support for information with your unrelated issue.
    • You may want to just fix your issue and continue on to file.

Is there a way to contact TurboTax without having to pay them (especially as this appears to be an error in the software)?  Thanks,
