Amended 1065- and filing 1040

I'm a limited partner in a family partnership.  We discovered an error in the income reported on the 1065 and thus the k-1s.  An amended 1065 and amended k-1s have been sent to all partners.  My question is the amended return is not yet filed with the IRS.  Am I ok to proceed in filing my 1040 with the amended k-1 information including checking the box in the screen asking if it's amended if the 1065X isn't yet filed, but will be in the next 10 days?  Or is it best to wait until after the 1065X is filed before filing the 1040 to not have any potential auto corrections from the IRS as the income is decreasing.

Yes, it's best to wait until the amended Form 1065X has been accepted by the IRS. Then you can use the corrected Schedule K-1 on your personal return.
