Business Corp C tax

I had opened a C corp in 2013, which I had opened to bid for some construction jobs. I did not get any work, but I kept the Corporation opened and had filed taxes for 2013, 2014 and 2015. I didn't get work at all so there was only minimum of $25 tax for each year. After 2015 I did not pursuit any business so I want to just close this C Corporation. NOW the QUESTION is, do I have to file taxes for 2016 2017 2018 2019 to close this corporation or is there any other way of closing it? Thank you in advance for your valuable time and help!

Yes, all domestic corporations must file an income tax return whether or not they have taxable income.

    See https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1120#idm140531961557440

You can, of course, file a final return if the corporation was dissolved.
