Sold our condo in FL last year and gave renter 2 months notice trying to be nice to give time to find another place. Stopped paying the last two months of the year. Can I or how can I claim two months of loss income on that property? Lawyer said not worth going after them.

Nope, can't claim 2 months of lost income you never got.

You cannot claim or report a loss of income based on the rent that was never paid, as stated by MMTaxMM.  You will simply report less income for the year since you didn't get paid for two months.

You will still be able to claim any expenses you incurred during that time that the rent was not paid.
