Business Taxes

I have a C corporation. Last year I contacted IRS and requested to have it changed to a S corporation.

IRS approved the request, however it would take effect in 2020.

While filling my company taxes, I completed the taxes for S corporation. Federal efile was rejected, while the state was accepted.

I am trying to figure out how to change the taxes and have it under C corporation without redoing the taxes again and efile it.

You would have to redo the tax return as the tax forms are different.

You filed form 1120S for an S-Corp. You need to file form 1120 for a C-Corp.
