Can I delete a business expense? We no longer own or operate a business but the expense is showing up. I can not find it in the return.

If you wrapped up the business you used to operate in a prior year,  you will not need the Schedule C this year.  Sometimes expenses to carry over from year to year and that is probably why it is still showing. You can use Delete Forms to manually delete the Schedule C and that should resolve the prompts to upgrade.

To delete an unused form, you can use Delete Forms

1. In the left menu, select Tax Tools
2. Select Tools
3. Select Delete a form
4. Scroll to the Schedule C and click Delete on the right
   (It should also delete associated forms)
5. Then scroll to the bottom and select Continue with my return
