Can I electronically file if I have more than one Form 1116 for the same type of income (Passive with 6 countries)?

I have fgn income detailed on 1099-DIV for 6 different countries. When I enter the information TT indicates that I cannot electronically file if I have more than one FORM 1116 for the same type of income. I only have passive income reported on 1099-DIV.

It depends. If you use the selection of 'Various' for the country since it is only from dividends you should be allowed to complete your return with the credit without restriction. Using the link below may be helpful. If necessary you can print and mail your return, but I am unaware of a limited number to allow e-file capability.
