can i manually input Section 1256 contracts into turbo tax home and business 2024?
I have Section 1256 contracts from three brokerage accounts that came with the 1099-B that I imported but they do not show up in my forms within turbo tax.
yes but you do that through the investment section under contracts and straddles. use line 11 of the 1256 reporting. the number will show up on form 6781. the amounts flow to schedule D.
