Question

Can I remove Schedule E ? I have no business income or business expenses but Turbo Tax is requiring me to enter information above vehicle expenses that I am not claiming.

You can delete the Schedule E Form from your tax return by following the instructions below:

  1. While in your return, click on Tax Tools > Tools (in the black bar at the side of your screen). 
  2. In the Tools Center, under Other helpful links click on Delete a form.
  3. Scroll down until you see Form 8863 and click Delete and follow the instructions. 
  4. When you are finished, click the Continue with My Return box (in the lower right of your screen).
