I have dissolved a DE corporation and started a new entity in Nevada for the same business. Can I continue using the existing EIN?

No. Obtaining a new EIN takes about 10 minutes at https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/apply-for-an-employer-identification-number-ein-online

No, the old EIN was assigned to your DE corporation and cannot be used for your new entity (even if it is for the same business). You must apply for a new EIN for your new entity.

Hi,

Even if my new LLC in another state uses the same exact name as my original LLC in the 1st state, for example, I dissolve ABC.LLC in California, and register a ABC.LLC in Texas, do I still need to apply for a new EIN?
