So I have two children that do qualify for the child tax credit But on my return under that it says I’m only getting 613 back? Aren’t you supposed to get 2000 for each qualifying child? I made 20000 last year.

No, the child tax credit is good for up to $2,000 each in reducing your tax liability. At $20,000 income, you don't have much tax liability to eliminate.

The additional child tax credit is up to $1,400 each and is refundable for what is left over from the child tax credit, if any.

$613 does not sound right. That sounds too low. In addition, Earned Income Credit may also be kicking in. Please see How do I check in TurboTax to see if I claimed the EIC and/or ACTC?
