Clean vehicle credit

For 2022, I purchased a previously leased vehicle is it still considered eligible for the tax credit as never owned?

No the vehicle is not eligible for the EV credit on a 2022 tax return.  You are not the original owner.  The original owner was the lessor of the vehicle.
