Do I have to file a 1065 if there is no activity in the LLc?

    No.  If there was NO activity, then you do not need to file a form 1065. 
     

    "A domestic partnership must file an information return, unless it neither receives gross income nor pays or incurs any amount treated as a deduction or credit for federal income tax purposes."  Entities
