Question

Do I need to file a K-1 (1041) with the IRS? If so, where?

I know it's somewhere in income but not sure where in TurboTax to put it.

    If you receive a Schedule K-1 Form 1041, you need to  enter it on your tax return.

     

    This is how you enter your Schedule K-1:

     

    1. In TurboTax Online, open your return
    2. Click on Search (magnifying glass icon) at the top right of your screen
    3. In the Search box, enter K-1 and click on the magnifying glass icon
    4. In the search result box, click on Jump to K-1
    5. TurboTax will take you directly to the section where you can start entering your Schedule K-1.
    6. Click Start next to Estates or Trusts (Form 1041)
    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
