Does my wife qualify for QBI deduction if she received a 1099-NEC form?

Hello,   my wife just received a 1099-NEC form for the first time this year working as an independent contractor.  Will she be able to qualify for the 20% QBI deduction on our 2020 taxes?

    Possibly. The credit is based on her income, so unless she ends up showing a loss, YES it will be subject to the QBI deduction.
