Question

Does TT Business cover everything in TT Self-Employed, like rental property, W-2, 1099-NEC, and Farm LLC income? I just tried to enter a 1065 and TT says I need Business.

I'm happy to upgrade but other than this 1065, self-employed meets all my other varied needs.

No sorry.  You will need 2 programs.  Turbo Tax Business for the 1065 and a personal version.

The small business program (TT Business) is for 1120 Corporation, 1120S Corp, 1065 Partnership or 1041 Estate/Trust returns and will not do your personal 1040 return.   It  is a separate program from the Desktop Home & Business program or the Online Self Employed version.

Turbo Tax Business  is not available to do online or on a Mac.  You can buy the Window's version here.  And you can have both TT Business and TT Home & Business (or any personal version) installed on  your computer at the same time.

Desktop Windows System Requirements

Then to do your personal return you will need the Online Premier or Self Employed version.  Or any Desktop program.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.
