Duplicate items in box 14 on my w-2.Sect 125 amount-$776.36Sect 125 amount-11264.96I can’t e-file with items in block 14. Can I combine the two?

Category on my w-2 is blank
Box 14 description, sect 125, amount, $776.36
Category, blank
Description, sect 125, amount11264.96, category, blank.
I have no idea what sect 125 is, but I can’t e-file with duplicate items in box 14. What can I do ?

One of them would have the category:

NY IRC 125/SEC 18 Subject to NY tax

and the other would have the category:

NY IRC 125/SEC 18 NY tax exempt

I'm not really familiar with NY taxes...perhaps someone who knows NY better would respond.

OR ask you employer which is which,.

BUT
I suspect that if you subtract the value of box 16 from box 1...if that is close to one of those vlaues....then that is the NY tax exempt category number. Problem is that there can be other things that affect the box 16 value for NY.
