Question

Enter your 2022 credit… (Schedule OR-ASC,…) I don’t have any forms stated in the question, and rather I only have 2022 Schedule OR-A. Should I just skip the question?

Enter your 2022 credit for income taxes paid to another state (Schedule OR-ASC, Section C, amount column if claiming code 802 or code 815 or Schedule OR-ASC-NP, Section E, amount column if claiming code 802 or code 815). The full paragraph of the question. I filled a separate state tax form for another state but don’t have any forms in the paragraph.

You said you filed for another state - if you paid income taxes to the other state on any of the income that is also on your Oregon return then you should enter that amount here.  Assuming that Oregon is your home state.

If Oregon is not your home state then you should skip this question and take credit for the taxes paid to another state on your home state tax return.
