error message on Colorado partnership information worksheet: "CO Acct No is invalid." First time filing so partnerships doesn't have a CO Acct NO. What do I do?

Turbotax will not allow me to move forward w/filing without the CO Acct. No. Yet, a acct no is not provided by CO until after filing first tax return for the partnership.

You should be able to apply for a Colorado Account Number (CAN) without having to file the return first. You can apply for a number by going to the Colorado Department of Revenue site.
