Estate K-1 box 14 has letter "H" with a negative number but it does not help reduce taxes. I went from a $2K refund to a $2.1K liability.
Line 14 with an H code and a negative number would only serve to reduce any NIIT (net investment income tax) you might owe; it does not affect your regular federal income tax and you may not owe any NIIT.
