I have a home construction business since 2020. Speculation builds only. Always completed home in same year as started. however, this year (2022) will not finish until Feb 2023. I have expenses this year, but no profits until after home is sold. What is the best method to recover expenses incurred in 2022 for home office and supplies, plus meals and entertainment?
