First time dealing with quarterly estimated payments

So I just filed my taxes on 1-30-2025 for the 2024 tax year.  I was unaware/ignorant of the fact that I should have been making quarterly estimated payments because of my side gig.  I Filed on 1-30-2025 and the payment for the owed taxes was completed on 2-1-2025.  Should I make an estimated payment right away or does that square me up so my next estimated payment is due 4-15-2025?

If you made all of your quarterly payments for 2024, you would not need to make another quarterly tax payment until April 15th.  This payment would be for income earned from January 1- March 31.

When you file your taxes for 2024, anything that you didn't already pay you will "square up" with then for 2024.
