Turbo tax will not let me populate question J which is required by the State of Florida on form F-1120 for Corporations. Question J is Type of federal return there is a drop down box that is populated correctly by Turbo Tax but the box next to it is highlighted as an error in pink and will not let anything be entered in to the box. So TurboTax says the form is "No Done" and I can't finish the return. When is Intuit going to fix this box?

Switch to the FORMS mode and make the entry manually.

It wasn't that simple forms is was preventing the entry. What ended up needing to do is within form highlight the field and go to Edit and Override the field. Pretty simple if you knew that was there but I had never needed to use that feature before. Taxes done on time for once no extensions.

I wish they would include a user's guide to all the tricks in the downloaded program but the best thing to do is check out all the options ... don't be afraid of any program ... nothing you do cannot be undone or will blow up the CPU. That is why kids do so well with electronics as they have no fear of messing things up.
