Question

Hi! For the Form 3554/New Employment Credit, does this apply for us if we don't own any business? I'm not understanding this correctly, but we don't own a business?

This is for the 'California Form 3554' asking for me this: 'Credit Owner must be entered'. Seemed stuck on that part and won't let me move on to the end. Is this necessary or how do you skip this one so you can finally submit it?

If form 3554 New Employment Credit does not apply to you, you can delete the form by following these steps in TurboTax Online:

 

  1. Click Tax Tools on the left side panel
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Delete a form
  4. Scroll down to form 3554, select, and click delete
  5. Confirm deletion
  6. Return to tax return

After the form is deleted, you can proceed with the return.
