Solved

Hi, I'm trying to add my form 1065 to my taxes but I'm not seeing appropriate selection. When I mark self-emplyment income there is no option to submit my form 1065

Form 1065 is not for self-employment. It's for a partnership. The Form 1065 tax return that is filed by a partnership is completely separate from your personal Form 1040 tax return.

Are you trying to file the Form 1065 tax return for the partnership, or are you a partner who received a Schedule K-1 (Form 1065) from the partnership?

You cannot file a Form 1065 partnership tax return with TurboTax Online. To prepare the Form 1065 tax return for the partnership you have to use TurboTax Business (which is not the same as TurboTax Home & Business). TurboTax Business is available only as CD or download software, and only for Windows. If this is your first time filing a tax return for a partnership you should probably seek professional help.

If you are a partner and received a Schedule K-1 that you have to enter in your personal tax return, you do not enter it as self-employment income. In the Search box type "schedule k-1" (without the quotes), then click the link that says "Jump to schedule k-1." Be sure to select the correct type of Schedule K-1.

IRS Form 1050-Partnership/Multi-Member LLC form is it's own physically separate tax return that is filed for a partnership or multi-member LLC. It is not "a part of" the 1040 personal tax return.

Now the partnership or multi-member LLC that files a 1065 will issue a K-1 form to each partner/member, and that K-1 is needed by each partner/member for their personal 1040 tax return. Perhaps that's what you're talking about? Is it a 1065 form K-1 that you have maybe?
