Question

Hi it's wanting to select a category for box 14 and it is \\\"local services tax\\\" but that is not an option only Unemploymnt tax is avail for PA...what should I do?

Employers can put just about anything in box 14 of Form W-2; it's a catch-all for items that don't have their own dedicated box on the W-2.

 

To complete the Box 14 section for your W-2, enter the Description and the dollar amount in the boxes provided. For Category, if the description isn't listed in the drop-down menu, select Other (not classified).
