To uncheck a box on the form 8862, you will need to delete the form. After you delete the form, log out of your TurboTax account and log back in to do the Form again. See the instructions below on how to delete a form and get back to enter your 8862.

To uncheck the box for Form 8862, you will have to delete the form.  To delete the form, follow these steps in TurboTax:

 

  1. Log in to TurboTax
  2. Select Tax Tools on the left side panel
  3. Select Tools
  4. Select Delete a Form
  5. Select 8862
  6. Confirm Delete
