How do i change the qualified business income deduction in turbotax?

To change the qualified business income deduction, remove the income that generates the QBI deduction.

 

QBID can be generated from these income sources.  One or more of these items is generating the IRS 8995 form. 

  • Self-employment income (including 1099-Misc reported income),
  • K-1,
  • 1099-Div box 5 income.

What income qualifies on your tax return?  Please clarify.
