Question

How do I file city taxes for New York City? I can only find business taxes and property taxes. I’m currently renting and don’t own a business.

In the New York state tax section of TurboTax, it will ask you questions about your New York City and Yonkers residency.  Later in the interview, there may be additional questions and TurboTax will prepare your city return to be filed with the state.
