How do I file my taxes if I worked for a business that did not take taxes out of my check, but did give me the EIN # for the business?

I worked for a nursing agency for 7 months and no taxes were taken out. I am not the business owner. I know I need to pay taxes, but how?

If the nursing agency you were working for did not take any taxes out (withholding or FICA/MCARE) of the payments given you during 2018, then they were treating you like an independent contractor. Which means that you are being treated as a "self-employed" contract person and will be responsible for paying self-employment taxes on the earnings.

Below are steps to enter income in TurboTax if you have not received a 1099 MISC form:

But, note that if you earned more than $600 during 2018, the nursing agency should issue you a 1099 MISC form, as well as file a copy with the IRS.
