how do I find out what category box 14 wants

box 14 says pretax and gives and amount but i dont know what the category is

    Box 14 on your W-2 form typically reports amounts that are more for your information than numbers that will affect your tax return calculations. If a description isn't included for an amount entered there, you can ask your employer for an explanation as to what it is for, or you can enter the Other (not classified) category at the end of the list.
