How do I start a separate Schedule C for my wife?

Turbo Tax states that we do not have to file a partnership return if we are a married couple who own a business. We are to have our own Schedule C's with income and expenses split 50/50. I have entered the info for my Schedule C but I can't figure out how to go back and now create one for my wife. How is that done?

You will add another business to your return, which adds a second Schedule C. You will just use the same basic information such as the name, address, etc. You can use the steps below to get the second Schedule C added to your return.

To add a second business onto your return in Self-Employed Online:

1. Type "Schedule C" into the search bar in the upper right hand of the screen

2. Select "Jump to Schedule C"

3. Select "+ Add Another Business"
