How early should I file 1065?

When is too early to file our LLC's 1065? Should we wait until state forms and instructions are ready?

    As long as you have all of your tax documents to file your 1065 return, you can file anytime.  It is very important to make sure you have all tax documents and that your state forms are available.  The deadline to file is the 15th day of the 3rd month of the year end for your business.  If you follow the calendar year, that would be March 15, 2025.
