    TurboTax lets you EDIT/UPDATE your 1099-B transactions and at that time you can change to a different Box Category.

    In the drop down menu to enter each transaction manually the option to enter Box A, B, C, E or F does not appear( as it used to give last tax year).  For long term transaction, the transaction gets entered as Box F (not  reported in 1099 B). How do I enter the transaction under Box E ( date of purchase not given to IRS). Thanks
