How to enter the supplemental tax reporting statement?

    If this supplemental tax bill is for property tax, it will be included in the Deduction and Credit section.

    This will only have an impact if you Itemize your deductions.

    Open your TurboTax

    1. Deductions and Credits 
    2. Select Property (Real Estate) Taxes
    3. Did you pay property or real estate taxes? Yes
    4. Enter the property tax you paid in 2024
      1. Property taxes on your main home

    (Do not include any amount shown on your 1098 mortgage interest form)
